About Paul Lally

Thank you for your interest in my work. It is my great pleasure to provide you with the finest quality prints as a collectible edition or art decor in very limited quantities, and for rights managed stock photography for publication.

All of the images on this website are authentic moments in time, captured in person, on original film, with natural light. You can be sure the photographs you see here are not some fabricated compilation of digital captures or reproductions with artificial intelligence, plus there are no captive animals or use of drones or camera trap snapshots on this website.

To capture a truly artistic moment in time with a single sheet or frame of raw film requires a high level of technical proficiency, creative vision, intuitive problem-solving skills, an indomitable determination to be present when it all comes together, and an inner connection to the environment as the decisive moment reveals itself. This may take months, years, or even a lifetime, but ultimately, it is this journey of life experiences through our natural world which I find most gratifying. If sharing one of these rare moments in time should inspire the ecological conscious of others in their own experience with nature, so that they may also pass on the values of awareness and conservation to the next generation, that alone is a worthy achievement.

I am now featuring very exclusive collectible limited editions of 1, 10 or 25, in custom sizes to fit your wall space. Looking forward to work with you and thank you kindly for visiting.

BIO:  Paul Lally's lifestyle as a wildlife and landscape photographer is really an extension of a natural process which began during those curious childhood explorations collecting and studying local insects, then to an academic pursuit in college majoring in wildlife biology, and later working in sales, marketing and upper management in the photo industry. As a photographer with over 40 years in the field, it has evolved into a full-time business dedicated to creating beauty, inspiration and awareness to the spectacle of nature and our global environment. Whether backpacking, snowshoeing, mountain biking or sea kayaking, Paul seeks a deeper connection which solitude and tranquility provide, where light, atmosphere and composition enable the artist to capture the essence of the moment. A keen understanding of the local environment and its inhabitants are critical, thus a lifelong commitment to this study continues, with fine art photography and a conservation ethic as a driving force. This passion to experience and capture these genuine wilderness moments, plus his attention to detail are all epitomized in Paul's highly exclusive and luxurious finished artwork.
